Soft Tissue Therapy is the management,
manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues of the body including
muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Not only is it applicable to those people
who participate in sport and exercise, but also to those aiming to guard
against or recover from a soft tissue injury.
The goal of Soft Tissue Therapy is to treat musculoskeletal pain, injury or movement dysfunction caused by life’s inevitable ups and downs. This is achieved with the use of a range of advanced soft tissue techniques including Deep Tissue Massage, Muscle Energy Techniques, Neuromuscular Techniques (trigger point therapy), Soft Tissue Release, Sports Massage, Connective Tissue Massage (fascial release) and Positional Release.
Aches, pains and injuries are a part of life that can affect us all, whether brought on by sport and exercise or by occupational stresses from both physically demanding or sedentary jobs. Soft tissue treatment considers all of this and provides a treatment plan to address both the cause and the symptoms.
